I started taking piano lessons two weeks ago ^^. My constant pestering and babbling to my parents proved to work, hehe.. They finally decided to let me take piano lessons.
My whole piano obsession actually started some time after SPM when I joined A.N.Y forum. It's a forum for compossers and lyricists to post their works up and exchange opinions. Since then I started really got in to compossing and writing lyrics. At that time, I was also trying to improve my vocals and singing. Then, witnessing some of my favourite artists able to play piano and singing along with it, I just felt really moved and urged to try playing piano. Compossing, writing lyrics, singing and listening to these inspiring songs had really got me in to music. I sometime hummed an unknown tune that just came randomly to my head, but I am unable to write it down on a paper or record it, it's a shame really. So I figured taking piano lessons would get me to know more about music, some basic theories and through piano I might really get to try compossing. Besides that, of course I would really enjoy it if I could play my favourite song and sing along with it.
So anyway, about my piano lessons, my progression was really slow. For the first lesson, they thought I was taking the normal course, hence handing me the wrong book, so my teacher can't do much and spent most of her time teaching me some theories and taught me to play the first song from the first grade book which only has 3 keys altogether. It felt really great to run my fingers on the keys!! Even now, Im longing to get my fingers back running on the keys! hehe.. For my second lesson, same case, I still haven't have my book. But I did make a little progress. My teacher taught me to recognise the notes and learn to play with the beats of the notes. Anyway, a side note, my teacher is really beautiful!!! hahaha.. She looks a lot like 李心洁 (Li Xin Jie), the actress who act in The Eye. Definitely the most beautiful teacher I've ever came accross (yet).
I think Im pretty much a slow learner. I do hope I could progress faster and hopefully I would be able to play a simple song soon. My dad was thinking of buying me a piano, but my mom objected. She thought I might be going to college or might even go oversea soon to study and buying the piano would just be a waste. I think I would progress much faster provided a piano in my house since I have all the free time now at house. I should start persuading them to buy me now..

An Incident
It happened this morning, about 12 am. I was coming out from my kitchen. It was then I heard a loud noise outside my house. There was a sound of someone slamming a car's door. Then there are people shouting. My windows were shut, I have to climb up my stool so that I was high enough to peep what's happening outside. 'Bang.. bang!!' Someone was slamming my gate, I can't see much in that short moment except there was a car outside. Then I quickly stepped down, wouldn't want whoever slamming my gate to notice me. Then someone was shouting.. "Open, faster open the door la.." or sth like that. I couldn't remember what exactly did he say, but he was asking us to open up the gate. Then there's voices who sound like people arguing outside. My dad then came out from his room, being awaken by the noise. My dad wanted to go out and have a look but I told him he shouldn't. My mom who had also woke up, asked my dad to go upstairs to the balcony and have a look. As I was following my dad upstairs, I grabbed my handphone with me in case I need to call the police or something.
At the balcony, we saw there's a guy lying on the road, topless. He was wearing a white sarung. Then there's this guy holding him from his back and talked to him and tapping on his chest asking that guy to wake up and stop fooling around. Then my dad was saying.... "Is he dead?". I was actually thinking the same thing, just don't want to mention it.. I shrugged. Then there was spotlight flashing on the road. A van came and stopped beside my neighbour's house. Three guys were then walking down the street to where the Indian guys were. I couldn't make out whether they came out from that van or elsewhere. One guy looked like my neighbour (who's normally quite busy body) but I wasn't sure. Then the guy who's holding the other man was saying "wake up la, there's people here". After that, my dad went downstairs and I followed.
My mom was already sitting in the living room asking what happened. Then my dad explained briefly and wanted to go out and had a look but was stopped by my mom which she thought it's best to stay out of it. My dad and I each had a 'theory' about what actually happened. He said the guy who was laying on the road was running away from the other guy while I thought there's an accident where that guy got hit by the car. My dad's 'theory' make more sense since there was someone asking for help when I was in the living room. Then my mom, dad and I went up to the balcony again. This time the guy laying on the road was gone and the three guys were gone too. Then there's two Indians, one was in a white pants. We were confused whether if he was the topless guy laying on the floor because as far as I could remember, he was wearing a sarung and not pants. Then we also noticed there's a puddle of substance and some pieces of unknown objects on the road. We can't make out if the unknown substance is just someone vomitted on the floor or was it.. blood? Then the two guys started arguing again, not as aggresive as before though. One of the Indian guy passed his handphone to the other and mumble something in Tamil. But the other don't want to accept the handphone and argued for a while but in the end he took the phone. Then one of them started searching for something on the road. Knew what I'm thinking? I thought he's destroying the evidence..... lol~~
Then my dad and I went downstairs as it seemed that it's over. But my mom stayed behind and keep looking. When my mom came down, she said that one of the guy left. Then the other stayed and keep seaching for things on the road, he kneeled down and looked closely on the road and almost kissing the floor and at last just lay beside our gate. My mom actually imitated what he was doing, which was hilarious.. My mom then wanted my dad to call the police as she wouldn't want a body laying outside our house the next morning. But then my mom went upstairs and looked again, that guy was gone too. So, it's over...
[/end of story]
Oh well, so what's that puddle of substance? Yeah, it's something vomitted out by one of the guy, found that out the next morning. I guess if my dad and I did stay a bit longer we would have witnessed the missing part of the incident and where did that sarung guy gone..
Things had been happening ever since there were people moving in to the apartment near my house. There was a bumper thrown outside the drain of my house before. Hmm..
Oh btw, my mom actually pretend to be one of the clothes hanging on my balcony so the Indian guys wouldn't notice, lol... not bad..

Keep Tryin'
The much anticipated PV- Keep Tryin' was finally released yesterday, yay!! The first thing I did yesterday morning was visiting U-O.net to see if someone had uploaded the PV. I was really excited to see that it had been uploaded. But then I got a bit worried when I saw the screen cap the poster/uploader put on the post.. It was Hikki brushing her teeth. I thought it might be another Hikari-like PV? That would be a let down. When I scrolled down the page a bit, luckily there were some good feedbacks. So it's all good.
Yep, the PV was awsome. It's sad that this is going to be Kariya's last directed PV for Hikki. Why?? His past directed PVs were some of the best music videos I've watched before! But this PV is way cool, it is very colourful and cheerful. You could see Hikki being so cheerful and smiling in her PVs. It's great to see her smiling again since her last 2 PVs were so serious.. It really made my day. Compared to some of her past PVs, this one doesn't need too much interpretations, which is not a bad thing cos I still couldn't figured out what some of her past PV's meaning.. You could also see Hikki in a lot of characters. I like the musician beside the street and the politician best.. they looked cute. And the outfits in the PV are awsome too! I love the flight attendant's one best! Other than that, as a wrap for Kariya's production, there are some parts in the PV that have references back to his past directed PVs. All in all, it's a very inspiring song and inspiring PV.. Everyone has to just keep trying in whatever they do. Look at Hikki as a politician in the PV, shes trying hard although everyone else ignored her.
"Don't you dare say, "My dream is to be a politician"
Don't you have any dreams?" -Keep Tryin' lyrics
Here's another quote i read from newspaper,
每个平凡人生,都可以有不平凡的自我期许,只要敞开心胸,好好认识自己,找出自己的发展可能,再远的梦,总是闪闪发亮,引人一步一步往前行。 -赵永楠
It had certainly inspired me to work hard to achieve my dreams and keep tryin'! I'm currently addicted to the song.. Can't believe it already topped my track charts on last fm..
So did you find which part was similar to her past PVs? You should try looking for them before reading further as I was spoiled myself yesterday reading the forummer's posts, haha..
Here's the similarities discovered so far:
Travelling PV:
1) The travelling waitress Hikki serving food and doing the travelling run. (I only managed to notice this as this was the most obvious one, lol)
Final Distance PV:
2) The little kid outside the weather forecast TV touching the glass with another white costume person similar to Hikki seperated from herself through the glass in Final Distance.
Passion PV:
3) The typewriters/officers beside where Hikki walked looks like Hikki walking the path in Passion.
Sakura Drops PV:
4) The costumes Hikki wore in Sakura Drops were hung in the costume shop.
Travelling PV:
5) Hikki cycling to work with some people following in the back similar to Hikki in Travelling as a tour guide.
A few other facts to ponder:
1) The little girl sleeping singnifying?
Maybe singnifying a new day is to come? Or maybe it means that we should face the world with innocence like a child? Whatever it is, that part is beautiful.
2) The food was made by paper..lol.. as pointed out by someone in the forum.
3) Could the bride in the lyrics referring to Hikki herself? We could see Hikki hugging a guy in the PV. (Pointed out by my sis)
4) When Hikki was stepping the paddle in the train, you could actually heard the sound of the gas coming out which is the rythm of the song..

Emptiness
I was feeling really empty+lonely last night.. I've never felt that way before.. It was a weird feeling, I just feel like talking to someone desperately. So I rang up some friends, all whom did not answer my call.. except one which I woke him up from sleeping.. felt kinda bad, it was a short convo as I dont wanna disturb him sleeping.. It was kinda late, they were probably sleeping.. Then I was listening to Jolin's 反覆记号 (repeat note).. It just made me feel more sad, but for some reasons I love listening to it as I could link to the song, felt what shes singing.. That's why I love that song so much.. I think the song is about her in some way. I felt inspired too at that moment and I started reading through the lyrics and felt compelled to translate the lyrics.. Some lines proved to be too hard for me to translate cos of my poor vocabs..
I don't like that feeling, I shut down my PC, went upstairs and turn on my radio. Then I thought of channeling this feeling to write some lyrics which I did.. I tried to sleep but there were just too many thoughts in my head, so I decided not to and instead lay on my bed and listen to the radio as I thought i could listen to some stories of what the dj had to tell or listening to the dj reading out smses and just enjoy the songs. I don't think there were any dj taking over that day after 2.. I weren't really paying attention to it either.
Then, I thought I would give it one last try.. I miss called my friend and was surprised to get a sms reply.. So then I asked her if shes sleeping, and she replied shes not.. and so yeah, I called her. It's cool though, she totally cheered me up, we talked quite a lot, but my stupid phone cut my convo at 40mins.. it always does. Dont know what's its prob.. I felt really glad that time to have such good friend and finally able to sleep. LOL...
Okzz so here's the lyrics I wrote, I kinda like it as it seemed to differ a bit from my previous writing style. But its really funny when I read it through myself after I done writing it.. it seemed stupid in some ways too..
It's still untitled:
You brought me here,
walking on your endless road,
tell me who are these people. (What?)
I don't know them anymore.
Chorus:
Stop now,
stop humming that same tune,
I dyed my hair,
changed my wardrobe,
so what's next? What's next?
I hate my geeky specs,
the way I hate my hair colour.
Where am I going?
Where the hell is this?
Kill that sadness,
kill the loneliness.
Fill me in, fill me in now..
(Repeat chorus)
Oh please, not that tune,
shutting down,
falling down, falling down..
in my never awakening dream... ALONE!
(Repeat chorus)
PS: I think this lyrics would be good for a rock ballad.. lol..

初八
Oh..this post is in chinese, cos this post would be much easier to write in chinese. I would write in English if I could, cos typing chinese is taking me forever as I don't have any program to type chinese and I can't set my computer to type chinse. I have to use the forum's link to type them, its pain in the S..

Stocked Up
I watched Fearless (霍元甲) last Friday.. It was a great movie! Truly spectacular. I had been a Jet Li fan ever since I watched Once Upon a Time in China. I like Jet Li's passion for chinese martial arts and his efforts to promote chinese kungfu through movies. His kungfu moves is just awsome! Hence, this movie is a must-watch-movie, especially when it's his last martial art movie. The movie was inspiring, i like Yuan Jia's spirit, his passion for chinese martial arts and his patriotism for his country. There are other good values potrayed by him in the movie too. There were some good quotes as well. Besides that, the setting was awsome! I especially love the village where Yuan Jia resided after he left his hometown. And I absolutely love his kungfu moves.. awsome.. The only thing was that I think the movie was originallymade in Mandarin but it was showed in cantonese in theathre. Im not sure if it's just GSC or what.. but it would be better if I could watch the original one. I'll try to find out if it's in Mandarin too in TGV.. Hope this movie will have a good grossing!!
Anyway, I've stocked up some PS games too on that day, hehe..
Ok, here's what I bought:
---Xenosaga Episode 2 (Looking forward to play this, the first epi was great so far, I'm finishing the game now.. It has a lot of cutscenes though, probably more than the gameplay time. But interesting storyline, so I wont mind the long cutscenes!)
---Harry Potter Goblet of Fire (I've started playing this with my sis, it's quite amusing and fun to play.. It's funny how we fight for beans and throw rocks at each other.. lol)
---Sims 2.. (Think it'll be a good game, haven't finish Busting Out though. Sims is really good game for people who has nothing to do at all.. cos hours would have passed by without realising it while you're playing.. Good way to waste time/procrastinate.. haha..)
---Final Fantasy X-2 (I've finished this game, but my sis bought it cos the old one was spoilt.)
---Star Wars (not my choice, lol..)
So these games would keep me busy for some time.
